Demanding to see Hicks & Newt; the company refuses unless she agrees to help them on a new mission. Technical Engineers have recovered information from the derelict spacecraft on LV-426 which pinpoints the location at which the pilot first came into contact with the creatures. The company is planning to send a squad of Bio- Techs to the planet to research the creatures and possibly bring back a specimen. Ripley reluctantly agrees to be part of the project. Several months later...the company's ship The Goliath breaks hyperspace above the planets surface. Ripley with a squad of Company Marines and Bio-Techs take a heavy lander down to the planet. Clearing an area on the surface as far away as possible from the Alien Hive, the Marines commanded by a Capt. Hoffa begin to set up a defence perimeter grid around the landing area which will act as a defence should any unwelcome visitors arrive. The Bio-Techs begin assembling their operating equipment; survey probes, sensor equipment ect. Hoffa tries to quell Ripley's fears about the creatures by revealing the military's latest pride and joy: Manga style battle-suits bristling with anti-alien hardware and rocket jetpacks. Ripley is less then impressed. Three days into the mission all hell breaks out at the camp: Townsend, officer in charge of the defence grid is found with his throat slit - the answer is soon resolved...the base ship in orbit has been destroyed and the camp is being overrun...not by Aliens but by troopers from the rival Schineder-Shorami corporation. Kuanimi the officer in charge of the Weyland-Yutani operation is the culprit for the murder and the betrayal of the people at the camp. The S-S corp. plans to take over the operation and harvest the Aliens for weapons research. The W-Y people are rounded up and shipped out to the S-S corps ship in orbit where they are imprisoned...until they can be used as hosts for the Alien breeding cycle. Several days pass as Ripley, Hoffa and the rest of the W-Y operations team are locked up. Suddenly the Captain in charge of the S-S ship begins to free them. Contact with the surface has been lost. Ripley and Hoffa fear the worst. Taking the shuttle down to the surface Ripley discovers Hoffa's hatred for the Aliens - his daughter was a micro- biologist on the doomed LV-426 colony and only through paying off the right people did he found the awful truth - his true goal on the mission to destroy the creatures & the company at any cost. Upon landing at the camp site, Ripley's worst fears are confirmed; one of the experiments has become out of control and killed everyone at the site. Dead bodies litter the area - except the traitor Kuanimi. Hoffa and his troops scan the area for movement but find nothing. After burning the dead bodies Ripley beings to go through the logs of the operation; shortly after being dispatched to the prison ship the S-S technical staff sent a probe device into the heart of the Alien Hive on the far side of the planet to retrieve some of the eggs. Experiments using Kuanimi as the host for Alien DNA created a monster that soon escaped and destroyed everyone on the camp. Searching through more papers and videologs Ripley finds the extents of Kuanimi's plans - to become the biological father of a new race of advanced humanoids with the Aliens as the key. Hope, one of the troopers activates a sensor screen which relays a grid diagram of the planet where they find that the Kuanimi / Alien hybrid has a tracer beacon implanted inside it which shows that is heading at great speed towards the Alien nest. Hoffa begins to order his troops to prepare to dust off when a scream is heard... A face-hugger has made it's way into the shuttle and attacked the pilot, responding with force the resulting acid- splash eats through the control panels and into the computer systems activating the self-destruct sequence. The resulting explosion destroys the shuttle and badly damages the original lander craft they arrived in. At an approximation it will take 48 hours to repair the ship to operable standard. Knowing the Aliens will arrive long before that, Ripley advises them to get the defence grid into shape. Ripley's advice is well heeded - after a short time Hope begins to pick up mass readings heading towards the camp. It's game time! The defence grid is a automated affair consisting of several huge smart-cannons riding on computer controlled tracks that form a oval round the camp. The first Aliens arrive and the cannons kick into action with great success - the air is filled with smoke and the acrid smell of acid. Despite their success the Aliens keep coming. Ripley despairs to find that they will run of ammunition long before they can repair the lander. Hoffa has an idea. Hoffa contacts the Schineder-Shorami ship and relays the hives' position from the camp computer to the ships. Hoffa requests that they launch a full scale tactical strike on the hive - in the hope that it will force the creatures to retreat to defend the Queen. The commander of the ship agrees but only has one-half of the encryption code to authorise a launch - the other is implanted in Kuanimi's PDT (personal data transmitter) and can only be extracted by Kuanimi himself. The battle suits are intact within the lander, Ripley tells Hoffa that their only chance is to find the Kuanimi / Alien hybrid and retrieve the encryption code. Hope agrees that he should not have any problems hacking into the PDT. Hoffa reluctantly agrees and six of the troopers plus Ripley begin to suit up. Arriving at the Alien Hive, which resembles a huge spiders web suspended in a deep gully. They are surprised to find little activity. Dropping down from the air, two of the troopers make to one side of the exterior whilst the rest including Hoffa and Ripley make for one of the interior passages. On Hoffa's mark Bakely and Hope shoot off bursts of flamegel into one side of the nest to divert the Hives' defences away from the others. An army of Aliens rush out to quell the damage, sacrificing themselves by smothering the flames. Back at the camp, the ammunition is becoming scarce. The remaining troopers are having to plug the gaps in the re- arming cycle of the smart-cannons with fire from their own Pulse Rifles. Grant the second in command orders the remaining troopers and bio-techs to form a barricade in the heart of the camp. Ripley and company are making their way to the heart of the Hive when they come across a huge egg-chamber made up of a horrific combination of broken bodies of various alien lifeforms including (in a witty rebuke to the Predator II writers) a Predator complete with melted mask. One of the troopers' Chang panics when a face-hugger begins to emerge from it's egg and opens fire - resulting in all hell breaking loose. Alien guards charge in; the first wave are dispatched with Chang's flamegel but the second wave creep across the roof of the chamber before dropping down. Trooper Hunt doesn't get to open fire as a Alien rips off the robotic arm of his suit...with his arm still contained within. Ripley and Hoffa $ffflay down covering fire with flamegel as Trooper McKineley scans for a $fffweak spot in the structure - finding a newly patched hole where the S-S $effprobe originally entered, he blows open a hole in the Bio-mech with his $effchaingun. They all make it through except for Chang who tries to go to $dffHunt's rescue but who ends up overwhelmed by the creatures. McKineley $dffseals the escape route by laying down a mine which collapses the hole to $cffthe chamber. $cff $bffMaking their way to Kuanimi's tracer signal they eventually stumble on a $bffwebbed tunnel which leads into the side of the mountain and into a huge $affchamber where they are horrified to find a mutant Queen presiding over a $affnightmarish fusion of technology salvaged from various races who have $9ffventured to the planet; parts resemble the domed structure of the $9ffPredator's ship whilst others and clearly made up of the Bio- Technology $8ffthat made up the derelict ship from ALIEN. Intertwined are parts ripped $8ffoff from other sources all held together and encased in Alien $7ffBio-Mechanoid growth; forming a grotesque arrowhead shape. Ripley $7ffconcludes that the creatures must be constructing some form of craft. $7feThe mutant Queen is a dark red colour, upon closer inspection with the $7feZoom sensor on her visor Ripley locates Kuanimi...he has been encased in $7fdBio-Mech to the Queen's underbelly with a stick-like prosthesis running $7fdfrom the back of his head to the underside of the Queen's headplate. $7fcThe shock of the site is interrupted by a comms message: The Aliens $7fchave breached the defence perimeter back at the camp. Hoffa decides $7fbthey need to act fast. $7fb $7faHoffa and McKineley will distract the creatures whilst Ripley attempts $7fato retrieve Kuanimi's PDT. Hoffa and McKineley let off a salvo of $6fachaingun fire to the opposite side of the Queen. The Aliens who are $6fafussing over the `ship' immediately begin to make their way over to the $5fathreat, followed at greater speed by the Queen's royal guard. Ripley $5faswoops down to the Queen, the huge clamping arm of the robot-suit $4fatearing at Kuanimi's left arm through the Bio-Mech. Kuanimi's eyes $4faopen, his features distorted by the Alien DNA, and begins to scream at $3faRipley. Aware of the new threat, the Royal Guard race back to defend $3fathe prize of the Hive. Avoiding the clamped hammer-jaws of the Queen, $2faRipley clamps her robotic hand around Kuanimi's arm and tears it off at $2fathe joint - Kuanimi and the Queen both scream in unison. Yellowish acid $1fabegins to eat away at Ripley's robotic suit and into her flesh. $1faStrangely she does not notice any pain as she makes towards Hoffa and $0faMcKineley $0f9 $0f9Back at the camp all does not go well. Most of the Troops have fallen $0f8victim and the last remaining survivors are holed up inside the lander, $0f8using it's defensive cannon to pick of the creatures as they hammer on $0f7the exterior of the ship. $0f7 $0f6Hoffa, Ripley and McKineley begin to race back to the surface with their $0f6prize, Ripley trying desperately not to drop the severed arm. Upon $0f5reaching the surface they meet up with Bakely and Hope, who immediately $0f5begins to cut into the arm for the PDT. Jetting to a safe distance Hope $0f4taps into the PDT and transmits the launch code encryption to the S-S $0f4ship. $0f3 $0f3A Volley of missiles fall from the heavens plunging deep into the heart $0f2of the Hive, turning the Bio-Mech into a steaming vat of radiated waste. $0f2Deep in the heart of the nest the Alien Queen tears herself away from $0f1her mounting and slithers into her position in the `ship' followed by a $0f1select band of her followers and the Royal Guard. Ripley and the troops $0f0can only look on in horror, as a black mass bursts through the maelstrom $0f0and up into the sky and beyond... $0f1 $0f1The Aliens laying siege to the camp twitch pathetically on the floor, $0f2hundreds of once moving bodies reduced to paralytics after being severed $0f2from the group influence of the Queen. Grant quickly orders the $0f3remaining survivors to take any weapons they can find and destroy the $0f3creatures before they can recover. $0f4 $0f4Shortly later Ripley and the others return, greeted with enthusiasm by $0f5the camp survivors. The troops are happy to lap up the glory except for $0f5Ripley - She is puzzled with her hand. Folding back the flesh she $0f6examines her acid wounds from Kuanimi and begins to see a white $0f6streaming liquid flowing instead of the customary blood. Bursting into $0f7the lander she demands that the Bio-Tech's tell her what is happening. $0f7They refuse until Hoffa points a Pulse Rifle at them. Ripley's worst $0f8fears are confirmed as the Bio-Scan reveals she is no longer human, she $0f8is infact an Android. $0f9 $0f9The Bio-Techs show her the company records. How she died on the prison $0faplanet Fiorina, graphic photos of the autopsy she herself conducted on $0faNewt and Hicks, plans by the Weyland- Yutani company to resurrect her by $0fbimplanting her stored brain patterns into the mind of a synthetic - $0fberasing the parts that did not fit their plans and implanting new $0fcmemories that did. All so they could use her uncanny knack at beating $0fcthe Aliens to help in their plans to capture the Aliens and use them as $0fdthe perfect tool for their Bio- Weapons research. Ripley turns to Hoffa $0fdto tell him that these creatures must be destroyed whatever the cost. $0fe $0feAfter the successful repair of the lander, Ripley, Troops and Bio-Techs $0ffreturn to the S-S base ship. The Captain tells them that they have been $0ffmonitoring the Alien ship that broke orbit and it's current heading will $1fftake it directly to Earth. The ship has also been dispatching `spores' $1ffat regular intervals: Eggs wrapped in a blanket of Bio-Mech. The Techs $2fftheorise these might be to enter orbit and infect new fresh planets. $2ffHoffa orders that the ship pursue at maximum speed, destroying the eggs $3ffon the way. $3ff $4ffThey eventually reach the ship. Hoffa beings the targeting sequence so $4ffthat the Alien ship can be destroyed with the railgun, when a vagina $5fflike opening on the Alien vessel opens and a flurry of Aliens spew out $5ffonto the outside of the S-S ship, immediately beginning to regurgitate $6ffacid onto the hull. Warning sirens kick in all over the ship, as hull $6ffintegrity is compromised. The Captain tells Hoffa that the best way to $7ffdestroy the ship will be to take a small runner, used to patch hull $7ffdamage and detonate it next to the Alien ship - however they cannot be $8ffoperated by remote. Hoffa immediately volunteers for the job. $8ff $9ffSuiting up Hoffa is knocked unconscious by Ripley. No one is going to $9ffdeprive her of her personal victory over the creatures and her chance $afffor death. She takes her place in the runner. Initiating the eject $affsequence she sees the recovered Hoffa place his hand to the glass $bffshielding...in a symbolic gesture of friendship she does the same. $bffUsing the welding arm she destroys the remaining Aliens on the hull and $cfffires the retros - sending her slamming into the heart of the Alien $cffship, consuming both in a vista of energy. Ripley is now free to join $dffher daughter Amanda, Newt and Hicks. $dff $eff $eff $fff $fffTHE END
